Skids and Skid Jumps

If Sybil is moving on the ground and then immediately moves in the opposite direction, she will skid along the ground while her speed decreases to zero. If a jump is performed during this she will perform a skid jump and will gain more height than a regular jump. Skid Jumps are a vital part of performing an Ultra Jump.

The more speed she has during a skid jump, the higher (and farther) she will be able to jump.

Without Solar Wind

If Sybil performs a skid jump with speed greater than approximately 820, a blue trail will follow her and she will gain the maximum height that she can, (although she only needs around 790 to actually achieve max height).[1]

With Solar Wind

If Sybil has Solar Wind, then she can achieve even greater height if she skid jumps with a speed of approximately 910, and a gold trail will follow her.

Differences between patches

If playing on Full Gold Patch (before ver 1.27..) Sybil can get achieve this "Full Gold" Skid Jump regardless of whether she has Solar Wind or not.
